Recently, the Government of Assam State has announced to implementation of a Youth Development Initiative named Jibon Prerana Scheme 2025, in which the Government aims to provide financial help and support to all the educated youths and specially abled (Divyang) youth who have completed their studies in Government Universities and Colleges and are unemployed. The Government will provide these youth financial help sent directly into their bank account through bs DBT process. Students can opt for a time payment or monthly installments under this initiative. About Jibon Prerna Scheme 2025
The Chief Minister of Assam State, Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma, has announced the Jibon Prerana Scheme while allocating the 2025-26 Budget of Assam State. Under this scheme, the Government aims to provide financial aid and support to all the unemployed and disabled youth who have studied in Government Colleges and Universities across the state. According to this scheme, the Government will provide financial help of INR 2500 for one year, or they can opt for a one-time payment of INR 25,000, and for the Specially Abled students, the financial assistance of INR 50,000 in a one-time payment will be provided. With the help of this initiative, the unemployed students will get financial support until they get employed. Purpose of Jibon Prerna Scheme
The main purpose behind this Jibon Prerna Scheme is to provide financial support to all the educated unemployed youth and specially abled students across Assam.
